VILLAGES OF
HOPE MINISTRIES
DECLARING DIGNITY AND WORTH IN IMPOVERISHED FAMILIES
Villages of HOPE Ministries has become a model organization in working with vulnerable children and the elderly. Our programs address everyday problems faced by children and their families in Uganda and work to solve their root causes.
Our Solution
01.
EDUCATION
VOHM has implemented a comprehensive education program designed to address the needs of the local community. Established in 2014, our sponsorship program initially provided educational support to three elementary-level students. Over the years, we have steadily expanded our sponsorship program, now supporting 112 students in 2026. This has been made possible by the establishment of CHCS a not-for-profit community school founded to support the mission of our sponsorship program. In addition to providing a quality education, CHCS also offers free meals, school supplies, medical care, and other essential services to its students. Our commitment to education goes beyond the classroom. By partnering with the local community, we have been able to create employment opportunities for teachers, caregivers, and cooks who serve the students at CHCS. This holistic approach to education not only provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, but it also supports the economic development and well-being of the broader community.

HEALTH
VOHM has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to improving the health and well-being of the community members in Mityana Municipality and the surrounding areas. Since 2014, our medical care funding program has provided financial support for over 150 individuals, from newborns to the elderly, covering a wide range of health needs including childhood illnesses, deficiency diseases, and blood tests. In Uganda, access to quality medical care is often prohibitively expensive, and many people struggle to afford even basic treatments. At VOHM, we want to address this inequality by offering financial support for medical care, allowing individuals to access essential health services without the burden of costly medical bills. By funding medical care for patients in the communities we serve, we have been able to save lives and improve the overall health and well-being of the community. We are committed to continuing this important work and to finding new ways to support the health and well-being of our neighbors in need.
